In Loving Memory of our dear friend...Lim Yu Vern

14th Oct, 1992-30th May, 2009

He was a dear friend to many of us, a brother, and a son. He was a really special guy. Different in his own unique way. A very talented guitarist. He was a really nice guy, very gentlemen, hilarious, caring, kind, friendly, loves God, jokes alot, etc.


I remember when I used to hang out with him back in 2003 right up till he left GRC in 2006. He was really nice to me and other friends. Though sometimes what he says doesnt make any sense at all, but thats what makes him unique. I also remember how he use to tease me and all. With the others too. I think that was in 2004 or 2005. They even made a song about it, and I remember Vern was the one who was playing the guitar. Though it was embarassing, but those times were so memorable. All his funny acts. There's too much to say about him. I'll just keep it short.

Hmm....now already February, but updating on things that happen in December 2008. >.<

Okies.....

4th-9th-Penang

Was in Penang with my family and Michelle's family.....was there for the Penang International Jazz Festival. The jazz bands are quite good. I really love them. And their songs....had lots of fun in Penang, especially when you got teman.....hahaha....and about red pants and yellow pants right Michelle?? Then went shopping also, and swimming. We also went to the night market. Havent been there for so long. Alot of changes. Hahaha.... overall, it was an awesome and enjoyable trip. =)


11th-14th-Encounter Camp(XYZ, DUMC)

Camp was awesome. We had it at Benum Hill Resort, Pahang, which is a NS campsite. But the place was quite ok. Not that bad. Had lotsa fun, and all the activities were planned by our own youths. We had Sold Out band and the people from Eagle Covenant Church as our speaker. Pastor Cathryn's message was so powerful and interesting too. I experienced God on the 2nd night and the last night. He was really real to me. That feeling was just awesome and i'm really happy God spoke to me. His presence was just so real and i'm sure alot of people felt it too. Coz can hear like alot of people crying. Even I myself cried, so yea. And Michelle came too.I'm really happy that she came, and that she felt God too. Coz she's not a really strong Christian, so its a good thing. Hehe....I never regretted going for Encounter camp. Everything was awesome.



23rd-26th-Christmas Celebration at Pyramid Hotel

We stayed over at Pyramid Tower Hotel, and so coincidence, Roanne was staying there too. So, we got to hang out and stuff. It was really nice catching up with her again. And 2days before we stayed there, me, my bro, Roanne, and Benedict went to Sunway Pyramid to watch the premiere of a movie. After the movie, went for supper, then went home. On Christmas eve, we had dinner at Borneo Rainforest, together with Michelle and her family too. They also stayed at the hotel with us. We had lotsa fun, taking pics, eating, chit-chatting. Haha....after dinner, walked around for awhile, then me, Michelle, my bro went to lepak ourselves, and to countdown for Christmas. It was super fun, got sprayed all over with foam. Especially my bro. Haha...reminds me of 2007's Merdeka at Curve. The whole street was filled with people....from Sunway Lagoon Hotel, right up to the new wing of Sunway Pyramid. We walked from Sunway Lagoon Hotel, and along the way, all 3 of us kena sprayed. It was quite annoying though, but really fun. We continued walking up, and stopped outside the new wing of Sunway Pyramid, where alot of people are chasing each other, spraying and all. Even my bro joined them. All went siao. Haha....it was an unforgettable night. Coz i seldom get to do that. So yeap, i hope this year(2009), will be the same as well. Go hang out with friends and all. But dinner with family first. Ahaha....xD Christmas day, we just shop around Sunway Pyramid, then lunch at my relative's house. At night, me and my bro went lepaking with Ro. Went to the arcade, and never have I had so much fun like that night. Ahaha, normally i dont go arcade, so yeap. It was fun hanging out with Ro, since she left for Melbourne in 2006. Overall, my Christmas was really enjoyable. Again, its just an awesome time spent with your family and friends.


27th-Ms Carysse's Wedding

I'm so happy for her. Ahaha, finally she got married. It was a wonderful and awesome wedding. Everything was so nice, and properly planned and it was so organized. I love her gowns...haha. Well, thanks to Ms Carysse for inviting me and my bro. She's really an awesome person/supervisor. We went there for the wedding ceremony, after that it was cocktail...then dinner. Thats about it. Just a short one. =)




I'm done with the updates. Boy, it was long. Hehe....xD Pics will be up soon, or maybe I'll upload it in Facebook. Tata....gtg sleep. =P

Wow, its been almost 2months now since I updated. Hehe...very lazy to update. Taking up alot of time. I'll update properly again okays?? Promise...hehe. Just wanna wish everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year. God bless you always!! =)

Updates!!

Wow, its been 1 and a half months since I blogged. Hehe...I was lazy, and also coz I was busy.XD Ok lets see...where shall I start from?? Hmm....after the 10th of Oct, my bro's band(1st band) and I had practices, coz we were performing for LOUD Concert 08, so yea. It was quite fun though, Darren always makes practice more fun. Haha....and LOUD Concert was on the 26th. It was really fun. The performances was great. Met some new friends and old friends, well, overall, everything was awesome!! Thanks to those who came, and I hope you guys did enjoyed yourselves. After LOUD Concert, me, my bro, Dawn, Shu Way, Dawn, and Grace(from Klang) went for supper. Took some pics, then sent them home. After LOUD Concert was KDU Halloween Charity Carnival/Party. It was on the 31st of Oct. Again, my bro's band(2nd band) and I was playing. It was quite boring at first, but then after that, we had fun going around taking pics with strangers. Haha...I dont really remember what happen in the month of Nov except for Awards Night and Party Day. Awards Night was awesome. The drama people did a great job. Everything was just great. Party day was kinda boring though, but its ok. At least we get to hang out for awhile in school, chat, take pics, etc. 22nd-my CG and 3 other CG had Amazing Race as CG outing. We had it in 1U. It was kinda fun though. Get to meet other Cg members and all. But some task were kinda stupid. Haha....but overall it was ok. The next day, my leg was aching. >.< 25th-Went to school, then had lunch with Gwen, Dawn, Sherlyn and my bro. After went back to school, did work, chat, went home. Oh well, holiday is kinda bored if you ask me. I desperately need to go out!!! XD Anybody wanna join me?? Just give me a ring kay?? HAha.....and pics will be up soon. I'll only post some though, coz you know, blogger quite long wan. Pics will be in facebook too. Alright, thats all for now. LOUD! Concert is here!!

Yea, you've guessed it. LOUD! Concert is back!! With more performances, and hopefully more people?? Haha....here are the details:

Date: 26th of October, 2008

Time: 5.30pm-9pm

Venue: DUMC, Dream Centre

So make sure you mark this date down on your calendar, or put a reminder or whatever. Cause it's gonna be a blast!! You won't regret coming for LOUD!. I can guarantee you that. There'll be games, food, dance performances & 5 bands are performing & 2 of them is my bro's band and Bus Company, etc. And at 7pm or 7.30pm, the concert starts. So please, please, do ask your parents and let them know that you won't be free on the 26th of October cause you'll be with us at LOUD!. Haha...LOLXD. Hope to see you there!! =)

Update time...

Wow, seriously. Its time to update. Haha...okies. Whats been happening throughout the month of September?? Practices, schoolwork & CG project, more practices, more schoolwork & CG project, and more practices, and more schoolwork & CG project. Phew....its been a really busy month for me. There's DOE's stuff, my CG's project, and still have to do my school work. Cant stop doing it, can I?? Lol....well, now that its over, this month's stuffs are yet to come. There will be LOUD! Concert, and this charity carnival, and I'll be playing for both the events, so means there's more practices. And a few concerts to attend. Gosh, I dont even have time for myself. I'm so occupied till I dont know when to stop. Plus, my maid wont be around for a month, so me and my bro have to do all the housework, clean the dog, cook, etc...but I guess thats kinda cool(and extremely tiring!!) coz in the process, I get to learn new things.^^ Okay, will update more when I blog the next time. Now have to go sleep coz have to get up early in the morning later. Goodnightt!! =D

Updates...

Ok, I've got lots of stuff to update about. I finally gave in coz I was asked to update and all, and its already been 1 and a half months since I blogged. Well, now its September. Time passes fast eh?? August has nothing much happening. Except for birthdays and some events. On the 10th, me and my bro went for XYZ Dance Audition 2008(my youth church). We did hiphop. And there were lots of good dancers there too. On the 12th was one of my friend's sister's birthday. Her family and my family, (btw, her mum and my mum were friends since primary. so yea) went for a dinner at a chinese restaurant. The food there are not bad. And I made the birthday girl a blueberry cheesecake as present. Haha...I'll show you the pic of the cake. Then, there was CG outing on the 22nd. We went to Sunway Lagoon. It was soooo nice. Its been ages since I been there. The place has changed alot. We all had lots of fun. On the 23rd, my family and I went somewhere, but I forgot. On the 24th, I went out with my mum, bro, mum's friend, and her 2daughters(the older daughter is my friend, which is also the birthday girl's (mentioned above) sister) to Curve. We didnt really shop la. Just bought a few cds and dvds, coz Borders was having a clearance sale. Oh wait, I forgot, I also bought a new pair of shorts, and something else. Haha...I alone spend about 100bucks that day. My bro spend about 50 plus. Then after that, rush home and watch the Olympic closing ceremony. It was soo nice wei. The opening ceremony was even nicer. Those who didnt get to watch, you seriously got to watch it. Its super nice. On the 29th, went to Sunway Pyramid with mum and bro for dinner. Then walk around. After that went home. On the 30th, went for Soph's birthday lunch at Sime Darby Convention Centre with most of the Grc-ians and ex Grc-ians. After that went to 1u, walk around, got a new shirt, went home, bathe, changed and went to Sunway Hotel for buffet dinner together with my whole family, and a few friends. It was ok only ler. The food quality went down, but the service was good. After dinner, went out and took pics, then went to Curve for countdown. It was quite nice la, same as last year...only this time we were standing outside Royale Bintang. While we were enjoying the fireworks, all of a sudden my throat felt really painful. Not only me, everyone was coughing and sneezing. After that we went home. On the 31st, went for lunch with family, then went to Bukit Jalil. Thats all for the month of August. Now, Sept. On the 1st, went for lunch with family and a few friends, then to 1U. And I got this really nice halter blouse. On the 2nd, mum, bro and I went to Mid Valley. It was awesome. I got to try different types of mooncake. Haha, now they all come in really different and funny/weird flavors. But it taste good. On the 3rd, Shab came to my house, then we had practice. She came yesterday too. Well, overall, everythings ok, though there are ups and downs lately. Pics coming up soon. Stay tune!! XD

Ok, yesterday was my newborn cousin baby brother's full moon, Hayden Tan. He's shoooooo cute wei. Feel like pinching his cheeks but cant...XD Met up with alot of my relatives....my mum's mum's side, and also my mum's dad's side. It was nice seeing them again, coz I seldom get to see them. So we, the cousins and my aunts and uncles, chatted and took pictures, eat, etc. But sadly pictures were taken using my aunt's camera, coz I forgot to bring mine, how sad wei. So pics will be up soon, but I took 2 pics only using my phone. And I also have a few taken last 2 weeks when I went and see baby Hayden. So thats the only ones I have.

XD She's funny, pretty inside and out, can laugh non-stop(ah, those were the days my friend), can be really crazy at times, and overall, she's indescribable. There's no one that can replace her. ^^
